Transcript Requests

ATTENTION: The Office of the Registrar will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Wednesday – Friday, November 27 – 29. Transcript requests received during that time will be processed on Monday, December 2.

Transcript Ordering Options

  1. Online through the National Student Clearinghouse
  2. Mail request to the Registrar’s Office
  3. In person at the Registrar’s Office

TRANSCRIPT REQUEST GUIDELINES

  • Transcript requests cannot be accepted by fax, email, or phone call.
  • Transcripts, official or unofficial, cannot be faxed or emailed.
  • Currently enrolled students may view/print unofficial transcripts through the students tab on the portal.  The Registrar’s Office does not provide unofficial transcripts.
  • Transcript requests must be signed and dated by the student.
  • All transcript request fees must be paid at the time of the request.
  • For mailed and in-person requests, checks should be made payable to Randolph College.
  • Transcript requests are not processed for currently enrolled students between the last day of classes and the date that final grades are posted for the semester.
  • Stratford College — Randolph College is the official custodian of the transcripts of Stratford College. Former students of Stratford may order transcripts using any of the options listed below.
  • All fees quoted are applicable for the continental United States only. There is no overnight option for international mailings.

    National Student Clearinghouse

    • Order your transcript online through the National Student Clearinghouse using any major credit card. You will be charged $5.00 per copy plus $2.50 processing fee per recipient (plus a $1.75 delivery method fee for eTranscripts).
    • Electronic PDF Transcripts (eTranscripts): 
      • Please contact the recipient of your transcript to verify they accept eTranscripts. 
      • Randolph-Macon Woman’s College: Select Randolph College as the school from which you’re ordering transcripts, even if you attended Randolph-Macon Woman’s College. You will receive an R-MWC transcript.
        NOTE: If you attended the College prior to Fall 1997, your order is processed differently than more recent orders and you may receive an error when entering your information on the Clearinghouse website.  Please continue entering your order and the Registrar’s Office will correct this issue during processing.
      • Stratford College: If you attended Stratford College, please add this as a comment in the Special Instructions box.

    Submit Your Transcript Request by Mail

    • Submit a written request that includes your name as it was when you attended, current phone number and/or email address, dates attended or graduation year, and an address of where the transcript needs to be sent. It would be helpful to include your social security number as well. Mail, with payment (cash or check only) of $5 for each official transcript to:

    Request Your Transcript In Person

    • Order your transcripts in person at the Registrar’s Office on the first floor of Main Hall. Transcript Request Forms are available at the office.
    • Payment may be made by cash or check only. Official transcripts are $5 per copy.
