Randolph College has a proud history of religious and spiritual engagement and acceptance.
The ethos of Randolph College is ecumenical.
In 2019, the College severed ties with the Methodist Church, which was instrumental in the institution’s 1891 founding. *
The College, through the Dean of Students Office, assists students of all faiths in developing and promoting programs nourishing spiritual life and provides opportunities for religious fellowship and outreach.
There are at least 25 religious faiths represented in our student body. Students who wish to begin an organized group around any faith or spiritual need are welcomed to do so by contacting the Dean of Students office.
Lynchburg has a rich assortment of churches and other congregations welcoming Randolph College students into their membership as well, and many will provide transportation to Randolph College students for their services.
For information about specific churches, services, and other religious life information, please contact the Dean of Students Office, deanofstudents@10ybbs.com, 434-947-8119.
