Traditions

Traditions are serious business here.(Because we’re serious about having fun.)

Randolph students observe a number of activities that have been a part of the campus experience for many decades. Here are just a few…

  • Odds & Evens
The last digit of your graduation year makes you an Even or an Odd. These two groups enjoy a friendly rivalry.
  • Pumpkin Parade
Each fall, sophomores make jack-o-lanterns for the seniors to carry as they march across campus singing songs of school spirit. The president of Randolph then serenades the senior class with a Randolph parody of a pop song.
  • Homecoming
Alumni return home to Randolph to spend time with current students and cheer for student-athletes.
  • Senior Dinner Dance
A fun way to celebrate your final year with your friends.
  • Tacky Party
Find something tacky. Put it on. Go dancing.
  • Ring Week
Juniors exchange gifts with anonymous first-year students throughout the week, ending with a scavenger hunt and a presentation of the class rings.
  • Holiday on Main
Every December, faculty and staff decorate Main Hall and offer students homemade treats to celebrate the last day of fall classes.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg!
